Black Sand Beaches in Iceland

One of the best steaks I've ever had was in Iceland! We were at a restaurant in the middle of nowhere and every ingredient was locally sourced within 20 miles. I really liked Iceland because it reminded me of the best of Hawaii (black sand beaches) and Ireland (green lushness). My family and I did a self-drive tour of the southern half of the country including Reykjavik, Vik and Hofn. Diamond Beach is truly beautiful with black sand and floating icebergs. I loved the rugged landscapes and how environmentally friendly everyone is in Iceland.

It was perfect- everything we wanted.

Bree was great. We used her for our honeymoon and she put together so many trips for us to choose from. We decided on Turks and Caicos and the trip was perfect. The resort was quiet and low key and the island had so many cool places to explore which was exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon.
