My passion for travel was sparked when I was a teenager and went on my first trip from Minneapolis to Chicago. I loved exploring a new city and its museums, restaurants, parks, landmarks and more. From that trip onward I knew I wanted to create a life that enabled me to travel as much as I could. For over 20 years I have worked in the travel industry for companies such as Walt Disney World, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Travel Leaders and Funjet Vacations. In 2017 I became a partner in Travel Leaders/Journeys Travel Group and in 2024 I became sole owner.
While in college I was fortunate to live in Europe for eight months in Scotland and England. From there my wanderlust was fueled by several trips to neighboring countries including France, Germany, Ireland, Italy and Spain.
As an adult I've explored the great Adriatic and Mediterranean countries of Croatia, Greece, Montenegro and Turkey. I've been through the heart of Europe on Rhine and Danube River Cruises. In North America I've visited multiple destinations in Canada and Mexico, and in the U.S. I've visited many states and cities with highlights being Alaska via cruise and the Hawaiian islands of Oahu, Maui, Kauai and the Big Island. I've ventured to South America and visited the wonderful countries of Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. My greatest adventure was in Tanzania, Africa.
